The interior is tasteful and modern. Whether summer or winter - every season has its own charm, not least in this nature area where fjord and sea meet. The large window front brings nature into the living space, and on the large terrace you can enjoy the weather all day long. On the terrace is quality garden furniture, in the evening you can enjoy the quiet ambience and barbecue. Also, the well-being has been thought of with a slide, swing, sandbox, soccer goal, pétanque court, kubb game, handcart and PlayStation3. There is also an outdoor fish cleaning area. On the glacial Odsherred headland you will feel like you are in a geopark. On it you will find along the Tumulus Road, with the barrows and burial mounds, witnesses from the Stone and Bronze Ages, the remains of a forest village in Ulkerup abandoned 300 years ago, the Hempel Glass Museum and in the Odsherred Museum the copy of the sun chariot found in the Trundholm Mose bog. You will also see the erratic boulder Lommesten and the castle Næsholm Borg, which stands on a small island in the lake Nygård Sø between Højby and Nykøbing Sj. On Odsherred there is also a nature school that lets you catch seafood, organizes butterfly safaris and expeditions into the forest, and invites you to troll and fox excursions. In the forest Grønnehaveskoven there is a fitness course, a beautiful dog forest and on the meadow Kongeengen springs the spring Thorskilde, which is said to have magical properties. In the area there are 3 signposted hiking trails: sea, sand and wind - 16.2 km, water of birds - 8 km, culture on the coast - 7.5 km. Your children will also be thrilled by a visit to the Odsherred Fire Museum. Nearby, visit Sommerland Sjælland, galleries that are also typical of Odsherreds and Dragsholm Castle from the 13th century. Havnebyen is the only real fishing harbor with cutters and a small smokehouse. Even recreational fishermen always get something on the hook here. Seal safaris are also launched from the harbor in Rørvig. From Rørvig you can sail to Hundested, from here it is only an hour's drive to Copenhagen.
