In a genuine farm environment, you will find peace in this house and you can not get closer to nature than this. You have the forest close to the house node with the opportunity for wonderful walks, lakes with fishing and swimming, wide fields to pick berries and mushrooms in when that season comes. When you go on the roads to the house, the speed should be low as the forests around Brevens Bruk are very rich in game. The house is located on a courtyard with open areas around where the plot of land closest to the houses is cut lawn. At the back of the house there is a large terrace where the wild animals of the forest are the only ones that can encroach on the privacy. From the porch branch you enter the hall of the house with space for outerwear. From the hall you have the stairs to the upper floor where there is an upper hall and a bedroom with a double bed and the smaller bedroom with two single beds. In the kitchen there is a dining table for six people where you can eat your breakfast and admire the fauna outside the window, maybe a deer passes by in search of the day's food. The freezer is located below the basement stairs which you reach from the hall. If the morning is chilly, you can fire in the old cast iron stove that is produced at the resort's old mill. Otherwise, the kitchen is equipped with stove, fan, large refrigerator, coffee maker, kettle and microwave. The newly renovated bathroom is located in the hall and is fully tiled and equipped with shower, toilet and sink, also underfloor heating and heated towel rail. The living room has a comfortable sofa group and TV as well as a dining table that seats four to six people. At the back of the house with access from the living room there is a large terrace which is partially covered with a roof, when the sun goes down behind the treetops it is a great place for a drink before dinner which is preferably cooked on the grill. There is another house on the farm that the owner has. The owner offers that you can charge your electric car at a cost. The fallow deer are dominated in the area and often show up with their powerful body and can weigh up to 200kg. Common in the forests around Brevens Bruk are also wild boar, moose, hare and capercaillie. For those who want to hike, there are a number of hiking trails nearby, the closest is the Ringsbergsleden which stretches from Solbergsbadet in Kilsmo to Röda Sand in Brevens Bruk, it is a distance of 12km and it passes Lake Sottern. Brevens Bruk is in itself worth a visit with its unique mill environment that tells of an exciting era in Swedish industrial history. Brevens Bruk is classified as a cultural-historical environment of national interest and there are many beautiful buildings to study here. If you are in Brevens Bruk over midsummer then you should definitely visit the traditional midsummer celebration which has 200 years of history and attracts large crowds of visitors every year. If fishing is your interest, you have a number of excellent fishing lakes in the area. Lake Sottern offers, among other things, pike, pikeperch, perch, roach and the occasional lake and eel. The area around Lake Sottern is a reserve with the aim of protecting the rich bird life, including ospreys and great bustards that have the lake as their base. You do not have to give up shopping, but it is done with advantage in Vingåker where there is a Factory Outlet that sells quality clothes, shoes and more at good prices. The golf bit does not have to give up his interest and within a 25 km radius have two wonderful 18 hole courses to choose from. If you have time, pay a visit to Go´Glass in Hjortkvarn, it is definitely worth a visit, homemade Italian ice cream.
