A lovely holiday home with a very good location, only 200 m from Apelviken's fine sandy beach. On a nice summer day, you can hear from the grounds how bathers at the beach are playing in the sea and enjoying the swimming life, which will surely attract you down to the water's edge as well. A cabin with high quality, well planned with all amenities on a small surface. From the entrance you enter the living room, where there is a sofa bed and an Apple TV. The bedroom has a double bed. The open kitchen has all equipment and a dining area. Here is the exit to a lovely glazed conservatory with a view of the green area and the sea. The bathroom is fully tiled with a shower and washing machine. Around the cottage there is a terrace enclosed with a fence, a safety for families with children. The terrace offers several comfortable seats both in the shade and in the sun. At the terrace is the guest cabin which has two single beds. The cottage has free wifi. Apelviken is one of Northern Europe's best windsurfing beaches with an established surfing culture. As soon as the wind permits - and the ice is not lying - the enthusiasts are out and the sea surface is filled with sails. You are close to several nice summer restaurants by the sea. The nice beach promenade takes you all the way to Varberg. An electric train runs from Apelvikens Holiday Resort/Camping, along the promenade into the city centre. Varberg is a popular destination with the medieval castle Varbergs Fästning as an important landmark. In Varberg there is Halland's cultural history museum, which is known for the Bockstensmannen. In the city there are theatres, a cinema and a large number of concerts are given in summer. Many appreciate Varberg for its cozy little streets with good shopping. Fun little shops, market stalls every Wednesday and Saturday and in the harbor below the fortress a row of arts and crafts stalls. Just outside Varberg is Getterön, one of Sweden's most famous birding areas. There are also exhibitions, a shop and a café here. Another nice excursion destination is the Åkulla beech forests and for those of you who are technically interested, it is not far to the world heritage site Grimeton. For those interested in golf, there are several fine golf courses nearby, the closest is Varbergs Gk.
