This cabin is located in a good area near the Ferry Town (5 km). The house was extended and completely renovated in 2016 so it is in good condition and maintains a high standard. There are two patios where you can sit and socialize. One is on the gable of the house facing south and the other, which is partly built over, faces west. Perfect to sit by in the evenings when you have returned home from your adventures.
The cottage has a spacious hall, a renovated and functional kitchen with dining area, a small bathroom, two bedrooms with two single beds in each and a living room with large windows facing the garden and an exit to the one patio. The washing machine is in an utility room outside the house. The plot is large and invites children to play.
Things to see and do in Färjestaden and the surrounding area
Just next to the house, you have access to several walking paths that lead you into a nice natural area. Öland's most famous body cake manufacturer "Arontorps body cakes and food" can be found just a few minutes' drive from the house.
In a few minutes' drive, you will reach Färjestaden with its large selection of restaurants down by the harbor as well as a mall with shops. There are also fine sandy beaches and mini golf courses here. If you want to play golf, the fine Saxnäs golf course is only 15 minutes away. For the children, you can take a trip to Öland's zoo and amusement park, which can be an experience for them. You can also visit the royal castle Solliden or Borgholm with all its shops and restaurants or why not take a trip to Kalmar castle.
