Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The location along the river is absolutely beautiful. It is so peaceful and very relaxing on the farm. We loved seeing the sheep grazing near our chalet in the morning. The WiFi was great, which we were grateful for as there wasn't much signal that high up the river otherwise. We stayed in the Thames Chalet, which was nice and cosy. We took our Yorkie with us, and he loved being there, too. The owner, Piers, is very helpful.

Negative: On the farm, there is no signage to the different chalets, so we had no clue where we were going when we arrived. There was no front door key left for us (it is very safe out there), but Piers did give us the key when we asked. The kettle was one that you need to use on the stove top - which wasn't ideal for us - and the stove top was an inductor one that we weren't that familiar with and there didn't seem to be any instructions on how to use it (although we did manage). The toilet seat was broken, which needs to be attended to. All in all, the pros outweighed these cons, though!
