And the surroundings of Assens are characterised by a beautiful natural landscape with fields, forests and beautiful views of the waves of the Little Belt. The Helnæs peninsula, 15 km to the south-west, is one of the most distinctive natural experiences, with unspoilt nature, beautiful beaches and clear water. 10 km north of Assens is Sandager Næs, an ideal destination for anglers, hikers, cyclists and anyone who wants to experience peaceful nature.
