Welcome to this charming and personally decorated cottage from the 18th century. The cottage, which is a wing building on Igelösa Gård, has been carefully maintained over the years to retain its original charm with low ceilings and wooden floors. You live in a lovely farm environment with nice natural areas just outside the door. You have your own garden and there is room for play and of course also for wonderful barbecue evenings. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare simple meals. In addition to a fridge and freezer, you have two hotplates and a small oven and microwave. The kitchen also has a bed, so you can choose whether you want to use this or rather use the sofa bed that is in the living room. From the bedroom with two beds is the entrance to the separate shower room. WC with sink has its own entrance from the hall. Start the morning on the west-facing terrace with a nice cup of coffee in hand as you plan your day. Maybe a bike ride to look for elk, deer and fox or maybe a day at the beach. The nearest bathing place is Ekenäs bath, approx. 2000 meters away. Larger and more popular beaches nearby are Vita Sand and Sandvik. Kalmar, which is only a short drive away, offers history and art. Visit Kalmarslott with its origins from the 12th century, take a walk in Stadsparken and enjoy the rich cultural life that the city's museums and exhibitions have to offer. Of course there is also a rich selection of shopping and restaurants. Why not make an excursion to Öland, the island of the sun and the winds. Rent a bike and discover the island's unique nature. The royal castles Borgholm and Solliden with the wonderful park, are a must when visiting the island. Kalmar and Öland have many nice hiking trails for those who like to hike. On Öland there is, among other things, the Mörbylångleden, an 83 km long hiking trail through Öland's various natural and cultural landscapes. Östra Sigfridsleden runs closest to the cottage, with a length of 30 km, the trail winds through varied agricultural and forest landscapes, always close to the coast. For those interested in golf, there is an 18-hole course in Möre. Welcome!
