Positive: We loved the peaceful surrounding countryside, friendly hosts and natural garden with plenty of little areas for the children to explore - plus the trampoline and the hosts' daughter, who was adorable with our kids. The house was absolutely spotless and had everything we needed for a short stay. We visited Nysted twice for the little sailing regatta and mediaeval market and would highly recommend this lovely town. We will definitely be back to visit this charming place, and have already told our friends to come too! (They would also love the sauna, although we didn't have time to try it ourselves this time, sadly.)

Negative: As another reviewer said, another couple of plug points in the kitchen area would be good, plus a second hob to cook with. For people with young children, it is hard to be quiet at night with the sliding doors but they do add such personality to the property and the children liked playing with them in the day time! It might be better to have a light directly in the bathroom that doesn't also light the corridor so you don't wake your sleeping partner at night. But these are all *tiny* things to quibble given the overall experience! We can't wait to come back.
