Hejlsminde is nearby, where there is a harbor with small boats. If you want to go on excursions, it is best to take advantage of the beautiful bike paths that run through the middle of nature. The Skamlingsbanken nature reserve is also nearby. In Christiansfeld you can taste the famous honey cake and see beautiful tiled stoves. In Kolding there is art and culture to see, e.g. in the art museum Trapholt, in the Koldinghus and you can stroll excellently in the Kolding Storcenter.
