The cottage is a detached family house from the 18th century and is situated on a mountain property with simple, contemporary charm. In some places in the house the ceilings are low. The kitchen is simply furnished with hotplates and an electric kettle.
The house does not have its own water supply. You can get water in a separate building, where there is also a dry toilet, shower and washing facilities.
The house is very special with its location on a mountain side, almost like being in a fairytale environment.
You also have access to an orangery higher up the mountain. There you can have breakfast and dinner regardless of the weather. The owners live in the house next door and here you can buy freshly laid eggs from their own chickens.
The accommodation is located about 300 meters from Landsjön and 400 meters from Vättern with access to the bathhouse.
Edesberg is located between Gränna and Jönköping near Vista Kulle in beautiful surroundings with orchards, farm stores, lakes, hiking trails, forest and nature right nearby.
A day trip to the cozy town of Gränna is recommended. There you can, among other things, watch the production of candy canes.
Or go by boat to Visingsö and there take a remmalag (horse-drawn carriage) around the island.
If you want to enjoy good food and the view at the same time, visit Gyllene Uttern in Gränna.
